Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of Ridgefield Rides, a transportation service operated by Flocality LLC, a Delaware limited liability company ("Ridgefield Rides," "we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or booking a ride, you agree to these terms.

Eligibility. Ridgefield Rides is available to residents of Ridgefield, CT and their immediate family members. You must be 18 years of age or older to create an account and book rides. By signing up, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

Account Responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. You may not transfer or share your account with others.

Service Availability. Ridgefield Rides is a community-based transportation service. We do not guarantee the availability of drivers at any given time. Ride confirmation is subject to driver availability.

Rider Conduct. Riders are expected to treat drivers with respect. Any abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior may result in account termination. Riders are responsible for any damage they cause to a driver's vehicle.

Independent Contractors. All Ridgefield Rides drivers are independent contractors, not employees of Flocality LLC. Ridgefield Rides is a technology platform that connects riders with local drivers. Flocality LLC is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent drivers beyond what is described in these terms.

Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flocality LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific ride giving rise to a claim.

Modifications. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via SMS or email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

Payments & Cancellations

Fixed Pricing. All Ridgefield Rides fares are fixed and displayed before you book. There is no surge pricing, no hidden fees, and no tip required. The price you see is the price you pay.

Payment Processing. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Your card is saved at signup and charged automatically upon ride completion. We never store your full card number — only a secure token provided by Stripe.

Cancellation Policy: ASAP rides may be cancelled until the driver taps "On My Way." Airport rides require at least 2 hours notice. All other scheduled rides require at least 1 hour notice.

Refunds. Completed rides are generally non-refundable. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us at rides@ridgefieldrides.com within 7 days and we will review your request promptly.

Billing Entity. All charges will appear on your statement as Flocality LLC.

Driver Standards

We take driver vetting seriously. Every Ridgefield Rides driver is a Ridgefield, CT resident who applies to join the platform and is personally reviewed before being approved. Our review process includes verification of residency, a valid driver's license, personal auto insurance, and personal references on file. We approve drivers we would feel comfortable putting in a car with our own families.

Our Commitment. We make every reasonable effort to ensure the safety and quality of our driver network. That said, no vetting process is perfect. Ridgefield Rides and Flocality LLC cannot guarantee the conduct of any driver and are not liable for incidents arising from the independent actions of drivers beyond what is required by applicable law.

Driver Insurance. All drivers are required to carry valid personal auto insurance as a condition of joining the platform. Drivers are independent contractors and are solely responsible for maintaining their coverage. Ridgefield Rides does not provide supplemental insurance for drivers or riders.

Incidents. Your safety is our priority. Any safety concerns or incidents should be reported immediately to rides@ridgefieldrides.com. We respond to every report personally and take appropriate action.

Privacy Policy

SMS Communications. By providing your phone number, you consent to receive SMS messages related to your ride bookings, driver status updates, and account activity. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.

Data Retention. We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting rides@ridgefieldrides.com.

Third-Party Services. We use the following third-party services to operate Ridgefield Rides: Firebase (Google) for authentication and data storage, Stripe for payment processing, Twilio for SMS delivery, and Zapier for workflow automation. Each of these providers maintains their own privacy policies.

Children's Privacy. Ridgefield Rides is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Connecticut Residents. If you are a Connecticut resident, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at rides@ridgefieldrides.com.

Ridgefield Rides is a service of Flocality LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Connecticut.

Dispute Resolution. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the Ridgefield Rides service shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Fairfield County, Connecticut, under the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration against Flocality LLC. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking emergency injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
